Trickstuff POWER ALU pairs the POWER compound with an aluminium backing plate for a weight-focused brake build. Trickstuff states a saving of 10g per pair compared with steel-backed pads, making this a deliberate choice when reducing weight is the priority.
Choose it for the right use
The lighter backing plate comes with an important application limit: Trickstuff does not recommend POWER ALU for long descents or high system weights. It should not be selected as a heat-capacity upgrade.
This version uses pad shape 830. Match that shape to the exact caliper before ordering; compatible Trickstuff applications include Piccola Carbon. The aluminium backing plate distinguishes POWER ALU from the standard steel-backed POWER pad.
